He's just a weird crackpot/genius type who writes pretty well and for some reason has lots of irrational Goon hate. Gorila isn't "us lot" either. He is our enemy - allegedly on the same side as Veers. However there is a key difference between the two. Veers only knows how to troll, and his trolling seems to be motivated by pure, blind hatred. As far as anybody knows, he does absolutely nothing aside from forum trolling. Gorila is also an accomplished troll, but his trolling is usually objectively pretty funny most of the time. Also Gorila actually undocks imaginary spaceships and puts his money where his mouth is, which you have to respect.
